The Westwood Football Booster Club would like to express our sincere appreciation for all the effort you put into making Friday Night the Texas Tradition it has become. The wonderful atmosphere on Friday night is largely due to our Band, our Sun Dancers and our Cheerleaders. Win Lose or Draw, Friday night is special because of you.

Fox News Story from the Kick off Classic Party
Lone Star legend Dave Campbell was at Rudy's on 620 Monday night signing copies of his Texas Football Magazine. The event was hosted by Westwood High School which opens the season against Lake Travis in the Texas Football Classic.
Princeton Collins and Chandler Cannon win MVP Awards at The Shumans National Underclassmen Football Combine
There were over 250 kids participating in The Shumans National Underclassmen Football Combine this past week. Westwood running back Princeton Collins won the Running Back MVP and the Leadership award and Chandler Cannon won the Offensive Line MVP. The story on Rivals.com can be found here
Princeton and Chandler have both been invited to participate in the Ultimate 100 Camp in Desoto, TX on June 29th, , a special invite only event for the Top 100 kids from the National Combines.

7 on 7 Qualifies for State Tournament
The 7 on 7 team beat Georgetown, A&M Consolidated and Hendrickson yesterday to make the finals of the RRHS 7-7 tournament.
As a tournament finalist the Westwood 7 on 7 football team has already qualified for the state tournament in College Station on July, 11th & 12th.
Warrior Cards are now "Varsity Gold" cards
Football Fund Raiser
Every year the football players are required to sell 10 Varsity Gold cards (formerly Warrior cards) as a fund raiser for the many expenses involved in running a 5A football program. Varsity Gold cards contain discounts for many local retailers. The cards sell for $20.
Booster Club Levels
The Warrior Football Booster Club has 5 levels. (see the booster club page) At the Warrior Level ($300) and above you fulfill all fundraising requirements in addition to the other membership benefits.
To "opt out" of Varsity Cards the Booster Club Membership must be purchased before August 1st.
