The 2011-2012 Softball Season is well under way!

7th Annual Home Run Derby and BBQ

At the 4th Annual RRISD Invitational Tourney, Westwood Softball took 2nd place in their bracket. Jennifer "JT" Tippetts had 6 RBI's. Hitting (3) 2 run homeruns in one day! So proud of every girl and their efforts in playing as a team. Good luck this weekend as they travel to A&M Consolidated for a three day tournament.

5th Annual WW Softball Golf Tournament

This year’s 5th Annual Westwood Softball Golf Tournament fundraiser was held on Nov 7, 2011 at Twin Creeks Country Club. Mark Short, the Golf Tournament Director wants to thank all of the golfers, sponsors, and families that helped make this year’s tournament a success! Mark said that even in a slow economy the golf tournament raised over 16K this year to go directly toward scholarships, new equipment, and uniforms for the program. Thanks again to everyone that participated and helped make this a success!
